This Italian-made die cast metal St Benedict 3 inch crucifix has a gold plated finish with blue enamel accents and a silver oxidized corpus. The back of the crucifix shows the opposite side of the St Benedict medal located in the center of the cross. Comes complete with a 30 inch brown cord to wear as a pendant, and a card describing the inscriptions on the medal in both English and Italian. The pendant comes in a plastic box.
The purpose of this medal/crucifix is to call down God's blessing and protection upon us wherever we are, and upon our homes and possessions especially through the intercession of Saint Benedict. By the conscious and devout use of the medal, it becomes a silent prayer and reminder to us of our dignity of followers of Christ.
